Press release
November 1, 2026. PWFT (Pro Wrestling Federation Tracker) today announced "HeelBoi" Dan Gilligan-Vogel, the graphic designer and illustrator whose wrestling merch has been featured by TNA/IMPACT, DPW and AEW, as the newest creator booked for CreatorMania, the one-night showcase celebrating the creators behind the wrestling game community. The show premieres live on YouTube and launches
Eleven years of wrestling merch
HeelBoi has been designing within the professional wrestling community for around 11 years. He started experimenting with Photoshop at 14, with the ambition of creating wrestling merchandise that fans would genuinely want to wear.
Frustrated by how much wrestling merchandise left something to be desired, he set out to make designs that appeal to wrestling fans and can even inspire interest in people who don't watch. His work has since been featured by TNA/IMPACT, DPW, AEW and various independent promotions. See it for yourself in his portfolio.
"Dan has been contributing to the pro wrestling business for a long time. He's a gifted graphic designer with years of real experience, and he's no stranger to the CAW community either. We're excited to have him as part of CreatorMania."
Joe LaRocca, President of PWFT
Designing for CreatorMania
As part of his agreement with PWFT, HeelBoi will create several assets for the show in the coming months, including the official CreatorMania T-shirt.
His first piece for PWFT is the official PWFT One Year tee, built around the line Continuity is Culture.
In his words
We ask every creator on the card the same question: what is one thing about the wrestling game creative scene you wish more people knew?
"I wish more people realised just how much creative freedom there is within wrestling. I think sometimes we get caught up in what wrestling has always looked like, or what we think wrestling-related creative work is supposed to be. But wrestling has limitless possibilities, and that should extend to everything surrounding it.
Whether it's graphic design, illustration, photography, video or any other creative outlet, there's no reason to play it safe or stick to the same familiar ideas. Some of the most interesting work comes from those who are willing to experiment, take inspiration from anything and everything and then those people will always bring something completely different to the table.
I'd love to see more people embrace that freedom and realise there's no single right way to be creative within wrestling."

That freedom is what CreatorMania is here to celebrate.
