1. Respect Each Other
We all know the wrestling community can get a little political sometimes. Different communities, different opinions, different personalities. That's fine. But CreatorMania isn't the place for any of that drama.
We're all here because we love wrestling and creating things.
Respect other people's work, even if it's not your style. Don't bring outside disagreements into the project, and don't say anything about another creator you wouldn't be comfortable saying directly to them.
I'd also encourage everyone to keep project conversations in the group or appropriate channels whenever possible. Not because we're trying to police conversations, but because when we're all working on the same thing, communication is everything. Things get confusing pretty quickly when decisions are being made in conversations nobody else can see.
And please, don't be afraid to disagree with me either. I genuinely want your feedback and ideas. I'll ultimately have to make the final creative decisions, but that doesn't mean I always have the best idea in the room.
One last thing: we have younger people in this community, so let's keep conversations appropriate for everyone.
2. Respect People's Work
This is a big one, and something I want everyone to take seriously.
There's an incredible amount of creativity in this community, and people put real time and effort into what they make. We need to respect that.
Music
Please don't use copyrighted entrance themes or commercial music in your match submissions unless you have the appropriate permissions.
Music is one of the easiest ways to get an entire video muted, blocked, or taken down, even when everything else is original.
Please submit your matches without music. We'll handle the audio centrally so everything works together and we don't run into issues.
If you have a particular sound or entrance theme in mind, talk to me! We'll figure something out that we can actually use.
Other Creators' Work
If you're using someone else's CAW, render, texture, graphic, or anything else they've created, make sure you have their permission.
And if someone helped you make something, let me know! We want to give people credit for their contributions.
This event is supposed to celebrate creators, not take advantage of their work.
Real Wrestling Promotions
We need to be careful about using real wrestling company logos and branding.
Gameplay footage is one thing, but we can't use WWE, AEW, NJPW, TNA, or other promotions' logos in our own CreatorMania promotional materials, event graphics, arena signage, or other PWFT-branded assets without permission.
We want CreatorMania to have its own identity, and we don't want anyone getting the impression that these companies are officially involved.
Real People
If you're creating a wrestler based on a real person who isn't already represented in the game, please make sure they're comfortable with being included.
If there's ever a question about someone's likeness, let's discuss it before we put their character in the show.
The general rule here is simple: if you're unsure whether you can use something, just ask. I'd much rather answer a question beforehand than have someone spend hours creating something we can't use.
3. Younger Creators
We want CreatorMania to be a place where younger creators can participate and feel welcome, but we also have a responsibility to make sure we're doing things appropriately.
If you're under 18, we'll need written permission from a parent or guardian before featuring you on camera, on microphone, or under your real name.
You're still welcome to have your creative work credited under your creator handle.
Anyone under 13 cannot participate, in accordance with PWFT's site policy.
For adult creators, please keep all conversations with younger participants in the public project channels. No private conversations.
This is something we're going to take very seriously.
4. Communication & Disagreements
We're bringing a lot of different people, personalities, and creative visions together. There's a pretty good chance we won't agree on everything, and that's completely okay.
In fact, I'd be surprised if we did!
What matters is how we handle it.
If you have a problem with something, whether it's a creative decision, another participant, or even something I've done, please come to me directly.
I'd prefer we work through disagreements privately rather than turning the group chat into a debate.
I'll hear you out, get the perspectives of anyone else involved, and do my best to find a fair solution.
I can't promise everyone will always agree with the outcome, but I can promise I'll take your concerns seriously.
5. What Happens If Someone Breaks the Rules?
Hopefully, this is a section we never really need.
Mistakes happen. Misunderstandings happen. For most things, we'll have a conversation, figure out what went wrong, and move forward.
If something submitted can't legally or appropriately be used, we'll have to remove it from the show. It's nothing personal. We're responsible for protecting the project and everyone involved.
That said, there are certain things we won't tolerate.
Intentionally stealing another creator's work, repeatedly disrespecting others, or continuing behavior we've already addressed can result in removal from CreatorMania.
Anything that puts other participants at risk, particularly involving minors, will be taken even more seriously and can result in removal from
I'll make these decisions fairly and explain them to the people involved. Nobody gets special treatment because of who they are or how big their following is.
One Last Thing
I want to finish by saying that none of this is meant to make CreatorMania feel overly formal or restrictive.
Quite the opposite.
I want everyone involved to have fun, meet new people, experiment creatively, and hopefully walk away with something they're genuinely proud to have been part of.
We're trying something new here. There will be things we figure out as we go, and I'm sure we'll make a few mistakes along the way.
That's okay.
What matters is that we work together, respect each other, and remember why we're doing this in the first place.
Built Together, for the Good of Pro Wrestling.
Let's make something awesome.
